Telos Alliance has immediate opportunity for a Software Engineer to join their growing staff. This is an exciting opportunity to develop software for new and existing embedded and virtual platforms and products for a global leader in audio broadcast technology.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with C++ development in a Linux environment.

This is a 100% remote / work from home opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the development process.

• Work from specifications provided independently and with minimal supervision by the Product Manager and Project Architect
• Contribute to specific knowledge areas for a product or system architecture
• Develop tools, applications, and libraries
• Participate in all aspects of the software life cycle, including analysis, architecture, design, development, testing, documentation, and support
• Perform validation and verification testing, including test plans and automated testing design

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with C++ software development on Linux
• Proficiency in VB.NET and TypeScript
• Linux-based development and deployment, including custom buildroot development
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and in teams

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with git and issue tracker and management tools like Redmine or Atlassian
• Proficiency with RUST, React, Python, other languages
• Knowledge of container-based deployment technologies (Docker, etc.)
• Experience with audio and video technologies a plus
