Our client, a leader in cloud computing technologies, is seeking a Computer Hardware Technician to join their team. As a Computer Hardware Technician, you will be part of the datacenter technical support department, supporting various teams in maintaining cutting-edge server technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Computer Hardware Technician

Location: Dublin, OH

Pay Range: $25/HR on Experis W2

Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts - 3 days one week, 4 days next week
  • Day shift: 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM EST
  • Night shift: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM EST
  • Sun-Wed (Front Half) / Wed-Sat (Back Half)

What's the Job?
  • Maintain the hardware infrastructure of the latest cloud computing server technologies.
  • Quickly and accurately resolve issues with server and network hardware through root cause analysis.
  • Utilize command line diagnostics to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance inter and intra-team development.
  • Operate effectively in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations while managing multiple priorities.

What's Needed?
  • 1+ years of experience in Computer Hardware and Networking.
  • 1+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems.
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to communicate complex technical information.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and strong situational awareness.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with varying degrees of supervision.
