Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in PCB design and embedded software design? Do you have expertise in power supply selection, microcontroller programming, and interconnect/cabling? We have an exciting opportunity for you. An industry leading client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design efforts including power supply selection, microcontrollers, environmental controls, backplane design, and PCB design
• Develop hardware and embedded software using PIC microcontrollers
• Interface with clients to provide technical assistance and maintain relationships
• Prepare production documents, quotes, test specifications, and project reports
• Ensure designs meet the latest safety, EMI/EMC, and industry standards
• Support manufacturing and sales teams to streamline processes and ensure smooth project execution
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors during RFPs, negotiations, and contract development
• Regularly document project status and present to management
• Collaborate with coworkers, management, and vendors to identify issues, research solutions, and implement actions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
• 8+ years of experience in electrical design or a related field
• In-depth experience in PCB design and schematic capture
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and understanding of customer hardware
• Expertise in microcontroller-based systems, particularly PIC microcontrollers
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of interacting with engineering teams, customers, and vendors
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
