The Outside Sales role will be responsible for growing market share of gas utility customers across the Midwest. This will occur through a combination of winning business with customers we don't currently serve, as well as growing the share of wallet with existing customers. In addition to gas utility customers, the individual in this role will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and winning business with commercial and industrial users of the company's products. This role will require significant travel; between 60-80% of the time will be spent out of the office in pursuit of new business. Territory coverage will include the states of KY, WV, and PA.

Specific areas of focus include:
· Solving customers' gas pressure regulation, measurement, and instrumentation problems
· Identifying, targeting, and winning new business
· Identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities
· Growing share of wallet within existing accounts
· Assisting customers in qualifying and approving products within their gas infrastructure as part of an engineering approval process
· Convert gas utilities from competing product lines to the product lines offered by Holland Supply
· Complete vendor qualifications as necessary
· Developing a targeted strategy for growth of new accounts and cross-selling existing accounts
· Develop a culture of communication and technical expertise through recurring training sessions with other sales reps
· Maintaining key customer relationships
· Advising and working with Company President to improve commercial terms with customers
· Collaborating with managers of other functional areas, namely Inside Sales, Operations, and Finance
· Participating in strategic growth planning for the business
· Managing personal sales budget for travel and training
· Integrating new product lines into the current customer base as they are acquired or organically launched
Required Skills (on-site training provided):
· Understanding of gas pressure regulation
· Understanding of gas measurement
· Understanding of instrumentation
Preferred Skills
· Previous experience selling to utilities and/or industrial clients
· Previous experience in B2B and technical products/services sales and/or marketing environment
· Familiarity with CRM and ERP software
