Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Perform repairs on damaged vehicles using various techniques including airless paint spraying and sheet metal fabrication.
• Utilize power tools and equipment to complete repairs efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks as required when handling parts and materials.
• Solder components as needed during the repair process.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients about repair processes and timelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive repair techniques and technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar role within a dealership or repair shop setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
• Proficiency in using power tools and equipment related to auto body repair.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with soldering techniques is a plus.

License/Certification:

• Ohio Drivers License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

Galion, OH 44833: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
