The Associate Loan Officer supports Senior Loan Officers by managing loan pipelines, ensuring timely progression from application to funding, and maintaining exceptional client relationships. This role involves document collection, troubleshooting loan issues, and CRM management, all while providing outstanding service to borrowers and partners.

Focus:

  • Oversee the progression of loan files through application, processing, underwriting, and funding stages. Address potential roadblocks promptly.
  • Deliver outstanding service to borrowers, processors, underwriters, and servicing partners.
  • Understand underwriting guidelines, review loan files, identify potential issues, and communicate resolutions.
  • Collaborate with clients and the Loan Officer Assistant to gather necessary documentation to satisfy loan conditions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve borrower concerns during the loan process and post-closing.
  • Maintain and organize the Loan Officer's database of contacts and leads.
  • Assist with client communication for payments, extensions, and servicing inquiries.
  • Foster a positive work environment aligned with the company's values of trust, adaptability, and teamwork.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Skill Set:

  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage or real estate.
  • Proficiency in advanced CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Availability for occasional extended hours and weekly meetings.
  • Proactive communication via email, phone, and messaging during standard business hours.
  • Flexibility to adjust to time zones and team needs while maintaining productivity.
  • Consistent engagement in company processes and values to support both individual and team success.
