InfuSystem is a growing healthcare service provider, specializing in infusion pumps and related products and services for patients in hospitals, clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, and other major service centers. SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director of Customer Care, the Customer Care Representative will partner with the Territory Manager, Account Manager, Case Management Nurse and additional InfuSystem staff to maintain OSU Cancer Center, providing in person site visits and remotely supporting additional accounts within the Ohio Valley Territory.
Certain hospitals, clinics and other medical centers now require InfuSystem to provide proof of vaccinations prior to entering their facilities. Your role may require proof of vaccination for us to receive the accreditation credentials needed to effectively service our customers.
IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
- Maintain Ohio State University Cancer Center located in Columbus Ohio. Approximately: 20 hours per week (On-Site 1-2 Days Per Week; may vary)
- Provide in person site visits to with OSU Total 5 in the greater Columbus Ohio area. Approximately: 8 Hours per week (1 Day Per Week; may vary) no pump assignment just paperwork at these sites
- Remotely support additional accounts within the Ohio Valley Territory as needed, approximately 3 Days per week; may vary.
- Work with Nursing to get patient consents (will need an email from the facilities involved)
- Obtain consent if/when possible
- Determine best practice to notify nurses of new starts/restarts needing a consent signed
- In-service new hires on process
- Access to OSU EMR
- Upload patient progress notes and VA authorizations to Express
- View patient schedules to assist with consents
- Notate at-home disconnects and ensure pumps are returned to InfuSystem
- Assist OSU staff
- Clean pumps to re-issue OR help box and return
- Assign serial numbers within express.infusystem.com
- Communicate RGAs to InfuSystem Customer Care for any pump malfunctions
- Maintain appropriate utilization of pumps
- Handle customer complaints with the CCC or manager
- Orders
- Identify missing order information necessary to bill (ie: dx codes, doc names, drug regimens)
- Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:No supervisory or management responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE:- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Must have reliable transportation to travel to other OSU and other TBD sites location within the Columbus, OH area
