Job Description

The Resident Assistant will be on-site during the Young Writer's Workshop for one week (July 14-19, 2024). This is a residential workshop for high school students. This individual will live in the residence hall with the attending students and will be in charge of guiding the students, ensuring that they're in the right places for classes and labs, and assist with food set up/take down/clean up for all meals served during the program. This position will be on-call for the duration of the program and must be available to respond to requests and needs from students participating.

This individual will reside in the dorms with students participating in the program. Expected work hours will be 8:00AM - 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM, and 10:00 PM - 11:00PM. This individual may be required to be on-call during off hours if needed.

Minimum Education Required

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
