Talascend is currently seeking a Assembler for a contract opportunity in Columbus, OH.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assembles electronic components to parts at floor stations.
• Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble electronic units according to product specifications.
• Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Incumbent must be able to work from electronic blueprints, specifications, job layouts, and written and/or oral instructions
• Steel toed shoes required.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Assembles or repairs miniature electronic parts by operating microscope (soldering and de-soldering components).
• May be required to meet certain certifications in field and to have at least 1-2 years of experience.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

Lifting will exceed 30 Lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant.
