Place server racks on the datacenter floor with 100% accuracy using laser measuring devices.
Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks following provided diagrams and schematics.
Install rack hardware using various hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on server racks, identifying and addressing any hardware or cabling issues.
Requirements:
Proficiency in server installation, configuration, and maintenance (rack-mount servers, network switches, storage devices).
Strong knowledge of server hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with basic networking concepts (IP addressing, subnetting, routing, VLANs).
Experience with server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, etc.) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces for long periods. Must be comfortable with tasks like racking servers, cable management, and other manual labor associated with data center operations.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, often under tight deadlines.
High attention to detail.
Job Details:
Working inside a climate-controlled warehouse facility.
$21.00-$23.50 per hour
Various shifts available in the facility (Contact the staffing agency for more details).
Shifts May Include:
Shift A- 6:00am – 2:30 pm- Monday-Friday
Shift B-2:00pm-10:30pm- Monday-Friday
Shift C-8:00pm- 6:30am- Monday-Friday
Shift D-6:00am-4:30pm- Thursday-Sunday
Shift E-6:00pm-4:30am- Thursday-Sunday
