Our client, one of the largest world wide transportation companies, is seeking a Transportation Clerk to join their team. As a Transportation Clerk, you will be part of the Logistics Department and the ideal candidate will have a high level of customer service, attention to detail and logistics experience which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:Mid 2nd Shift Transportation Clerk
Location:Delaware, OH
Pay Range:$21.00 per hour
Shift:9:00pm - 5:00amTuesday thru Saturday
What's the Job?
- Accounts payable/receivable and collections, payroll, fuel reconciliation, office supplies, billing, maintaining database and misc reporting
- Audit of logs, trip reports and other DOT reporting
- Maintaining of files, customer service interaction, resolutions of driver driver equipment requests and pallet tracking
- Maintenance and distribution of route books, daily interface with drivers, assist with driver coverage of vacation and overflow freight
- Daily/weekly maintaining of pallet tracking, audit of driver logs and trip reports, log and driver file DTOT requirements tracking
- Previous experience in logistics/administration
- Database management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
