Warehouse Associate 3rd shift

3rd Shift 4-10-hour shifts - Thursday through Sunday 4:30 pm - 3:00 am

POSITION PURPOSE

DNO, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in our operations by ensuring timely and accurate processing of materials, maintaining inventory levels, and delivering excellent shipping and receiving services. This includes handling all aspects of receiving materials-processing, verifying, and documenting the receipt-and keeping computer records up to date. You will also be responsible for moving materials and finished goods to their designated locations.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

  1. Pick and process orders promptly and accurately
  2. Verify received goods and update inventory records
  3. Utilize forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and finished goods to designated areas
  4. Prepare shipping documents and process shipments
  5. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse
  6. Monitor cooler temperatures to meet specified requirements
  7. Drive trucks as needed
  8. Ensures the warehouse is clean and in good order and items are housed where they are supposed to be
  9. Follow and enforces GMPs and Food Safety Policies.
  10. Other duties as assigned.


PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
  • Ensuring materials received are processed promptly and in line with our set schedules.
  • Properly checking, moving, and storing received materials while ensuring products reach production and storage areas promptly.
  • Being in control of temperature monitoring within the storage areas.
  • Processing and shipping orders as per the planned schedule.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records and reports.
  • Displaying solid coordination and communication with production and quality control personnel, providing assistance when needed.
  • Adhering to company safety standards and established policies while carrying out shipping and receiving tasks.
  • Keeping management updated and raising any significant concerns in a timely manner.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and standards.
  • Understanding related computer applications.
  • Proficiency in operating warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in a warehouse environment
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Quality orientation.
  • Understand and operate handheld computers.
  • Reliable Transportation/Attendance
  • Bi-Lingual
  • Ability to drive a box truck


PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION

Talking: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly. (Many jobs could be done without talking).

Average Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

Repetitive Motions: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, fingers hips, back, knees, and/or ankles.

Average Hearing Ability: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products or operate machinery.

Physical Strength: Moderate/Heavy work; exerts up to 60 lbs. occasionally and/or up to 30 lbs. frequently. Rarely will need to exert up to 70 lbs. or more

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Workers are subject to varying inside temperatures, which includes extreme cold (temperatures at about 32 degrees).
