We are looking for a Warehouse Clerk who is responsible for performing necessary tasks for the shipping and/or receiving of orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Answers incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally.
• Schedules, verifies, and keeps records of shipping and receiving orders.
• Allocates orders in the system and works with the shipping department to ensure paperwork is accurate.
• Enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into the computer.
• Performs data entry of warehouse metrics onto an Excel spreadsheet.
• Responds to inquiries regarding entered data.
• Files and maintains received data and source documents.
• Reviews and researches problem tags in Reno and third party systems.
• Coordinates the pulling and shipping of samples to customers.
• Tracks and orders miscellaneous warehouse supplies.
• Participates in daily problem solving through communication with the warehouse staff and any appropriate departments, vendors, or clients.
• Assists with special projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in all phases of warehouse operations preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
• Ability to effectively handle multiple, concurrent projects requiring judgment and initiative.
• Proficiency using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-pace, time-critical environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to use a 10-key with speed and accuracy.
• Excellent listening skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
