We seek a high‑energy engineer to join our Building Mechanical team and help deliver innovative plumbing design solutions for heavy industrial clients.

Key responsibilities include performing field investigations, interfacing with clients & vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages. You'll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks and work with a multi‑discipline, highly interactive team to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Development of the design criteria for plumbing systems.
  • Layout and design of plumbing systems including sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, and roof drainage.
  • Preparation of final design documents and specifications for these systems.
  • Coordination with other disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineering License.
  • At least eight (8) years' experience in plumbing system design.
  • Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to plumbing system design.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with building mechanical team members remotely.

Preferred

  • Software experience in Revit.
  • Experience in designing utility piping systems.

Base salary range: $102,900.00 – $135,075.00 per year. Pay is based on skills and experience and is determined by location and other factors.
