A bit about us:

Hugely Successful Aviation Company is on its way to being acquired! From that acquisition, a new company (with 200 employees) is emerging and they are looking to add an experienced Human Resources Manager/Director to their team! This position is for someone who is skilled at building an HR Department! You will have the support of corporate and upper management, but you will be building your department from scratch! If you're someone who doesn't mind being a one-person show, building out and structuring an HR Department that includes recruiting, hiring, benefits administration, FMLA, union, labor law, EDOC, etc., we want to hear from YOU! This position will eventually develop into you building out your own team!

Requirements:

  • If you're an HR Professional who is people-oriented, enjoys employee engagement as well as developing/implementing things for employee recognition, this would be a great fit! They are looking for someone who doesn't just want to sit behind a desk, but someone who is out getting to know employees and fostering a great work environment!

An Ideal candidate will have experience with the following:
  • Working with Unions
  • Benefits Administration & Coordination
  • Recruitment, Hiring, Employment Cycle
  • Keeping up with Labor Disputes, Labor Laws, EDOC, (state & federal) etc.
  • FMLA
  • Experience creating Manuals
